Yotel, the leading boutique hotel brand have gone through rapid growth with a number of recent hotel acquisitions. Headquartered in London, their commercial team manages all digital marketing activity across all global properties. In a highly competitive space, not only from competing hotels but OTA’s and Google’s hotel finder, Yotel needed to quickly reorder their digital marketing.
How we helped
Effectuate was brought into devise their strategy and reorganise the team structure. All activity across paid and organic channels was reviewed alongside CRM. The new strategy was aligned with revenue management in order to draw in more direct traffic and bookings. Team resource was reallocated and a recruitment plan put into action to bolster the teams experience and skills. Over a 6-month period, the team is now working effectively and their direct sales have increased significantly.
